Dr. Jutie SCHULTHESS Phileo immunity R&D Manager will discuss the topic of ‘The impact of heat stress on the animals, special focus on the immune system‘ in the program.
Dr. Julie Schulthess oversees immunity related research questions for Phileo Lesaffre Animal Care. She completing her doctorate immunology at Institute Pasteur and hospital Necker in Paris, France, on the immune mechanisms controlling intestinal inflammation. Later she moved to the University of Oxford, UK, where she focused her research on how microbial-derived metabolite such as butyrate shape the immune system in the intestine.
Elen RONDEL Phileo Europe -CIS poultry manager will discuss the topic of ‘Strategies to mitigate Heat stress‘ in the program.
Elen Rondel graduated from AgroParisTech (Paris Institute of technology for life, food and environmental sciences in 2009. She then worked for five years in feed formulation for a premix company in France, and one year as poultry sales manager France for Biomin. Elen also worked for 2.5 years as technical support in poultry nutrition for Elanco before she joined Phileo in January 2018 as poultry manager for Europe and CIS.
