Staff Correspondent: Dr. Md. Salauddin Sikder, popularly known as Dr. Sonet in the animal health and feed industry, has joined PVS Group, India as Business Manager for Institutional Sales in Bangladesh, from November 2025.
In this new role, Dr. Sonet will oversee the establishment of distributors for feed additives across Bangladesh and promote PVS feed additive solutions directly to major feed companies and large commercial farms. His responsibilities also include strengthening institutional relationships, driving sales growth and ensuring brand visibility in the country’s expanding livestock and poultry sector.
With an impressive professional background, Dr. Sonet started his career in 2018 with Elanco Animal Health. Later he has served in key roles with other leading organization like Alltech Biotechnology Pvt. Ltd. and ACI Animal Health. Over the years, he has earned multiple regional and global recognitions for outstanding achievements in sales, technical service and market development. His leadership in key account management, strategic sales planning and customer collaboration has been instrumental in achieving consecutive growth milestones.
Dr. Sonet completed both his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and Master of Science (MS) in Theriogenology from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh, securing top academic honors. Beyond his technical expertise, he is widely admired for his dedication, communication skills, and professional integrity and very good relationship with industry peoples.
