Originally scheduled for April 25, the conference will now be held on May 02, 2026 (Saturday), at the same venue-Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort.
The decision was made by the Executive Committee of BSSF due to unavoidable circumstances. In an official notice issued on Monday, the organization expressed sincere apologies for any temporary inconvenience caused to participants, sponsors, co-organizers, partners, and presenters.
“We deeply regret the inconvenience and appreciate the continued support and cooperation of all stakeholders,” the statement noted.
Signed by BSSF President Prof. Dr. Md. Khaled Hossain and General Secretary Dr. Mohammad Sowar Jahan, the notice reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to successfully hosting the conference.
The annual conference is expected to bring together prominent researchers, professionals, and policymakers to address key challenges and advancements in food safety and public health.
