I had the pleasure of working with Kamal Bhai, since 1999, the founder of Poultry Khamar Bichitra. He was not just an editor; he was a visionary whose dream was to make a breakthrough in the poultry industry of Bangladesh by spreading industry news nationwide.
My journey since then has extended over so many years that I can hardly remember the count. However, together with a few poultry owners, we significantly helped turn his dream into reality.

His legacy has been carried forward by his family, as well as by those whom we now see as the “so-called media” of the poultry sector. They may not be professionally trained journalists, but their knowledge and tireless efforts have brought this industry to a new dimension. I have had the pleasure of being associated with them from the very beginning and continue to do so, because I believe they are not just media personnel—they play a key role in the overall development of our industry.
Over the last 28 years, I have had the opportunity to work with many individuals. Some of them have sadly left us, but their dedication and contributions have led the industry to where it stands today.
We must not forget our past, nor should we ignore it. Instead, we should remember them in our prayers and cherish their relentless efforts in our hearts.
As far as poultry media is concerned, they have expanded their network beyond the poultry sector and into the national media, which is something we should be very proud of and honor with dignity.
I have always supported them and done my best to acknowledge their role, and they know this well. Still, I feel that more can be done. Every segment of this industry has contributed in its own way, but media serves everyone and therefore should remain unbiased and non-political.
I salute this media from my heart and pray for their continued progress toward greater milestones—taking the poultry industry to new dimensions. For this purpose, if any support is needed, we, the stakeholders, should extend our hands to guide them on the right path.
