
Special Correspondent: The technical seminar “Better Pharma Best Practices 2025” was held in Dhaka today (October 25), marking a remarkable milestone in the advancement of Bangladesh’s poultry and livestock industry. The event was jointly organized by Argil NE Bangladesh in collaboration with Better Pharma and Betagro, Thailand—three leading organizations committed to promoting innovation and sustainability in animal health and nutrition.
The seminar was inaugurated by H.E. Mrs. Thitiporn Chirasawadi, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand to Bangladesh, representing the Royal Thai Embassy, Dhaka. In her inaugural address, she emphasized the strengthening partnership between Thailand and Bangladesh in agriculture and animal health innovation, noting that such collaborations are vital for achieving long-term food security and sustainable growth in the livestock sector.

Mr. A.K.M. Humauan Kabir, CEO of Argil NE Bangladesh and the key coordinator of the event, said, “Argil NE Bangladesh has always been committed to connecting global innovations with local farming practices. Through our partnership with Better Pharma and Betagro, we aim to strengthen the technical capacity of Bangladeshi poultry professionals and ensure a sustainable, efficient, and profitable farming future.”

Two distinguished experts from Thailand presented keynote sessions. Professor Dr. Chaiyapoom Bunchasak from Kasetsart University, Bangkok, spoke on “Latest Advancements in Poultry Nutrition and Efficient Feed Production Strategies,” highlighting scientific approaches to improve feed conversion efficiency and farm profitability. Norachit Noiprasert (DVM), Poultry Technical Manager of Betagro Thailand, discussed “Health Management in Coccidiosis with the Right Solutions,” focusing on Better Pharma’s research-based veterinary innovations that enhance flock health and production performance.

The program was skillfully anchored by Ms. Tasnim Akter Trina, Partner of Argil NE Bangladesh, who maintained an engaging and professional flow throughout the sessions. In his closing remarks, Mr. Tashfique Ahmed Chowdhury, Partner of Argil NE Bangladesh, appreciated the participants and speakers for their valuable contributions and reaffirmed the company’s dedication to advancing scientific knowledge and industry collaboration. Mr. Rashedur Rahman Rupom, another Partner of Argil NE Bangladesh, along with other senior officials of the company, also attended the event and interacted with industry stakeholders.
The seminar brought together leading veterinarians, poultry entrepreneurs, feed manufacturers, and industry professionals from across the country.
