
Special Correspondetn : Aiming to reshape the animal nutrition landscape of Bangladesh, Ecolex Animal Nutrition and Renata PLC Animal Health Division jointly hosted the “Partnering for Progress: Ecolex & Renata PLC Innovation Forum” on October 18 (Saturday) evening at the Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort Ltd.
The exclusive forum marked the Bangladesh launch of Ecolex’s Adjacent Technologies Portfolio, introducing a range of innovative feed solutions designed to improve nutrient efficiency, animal performance, and sustainability in the livestock sector.
The event began with a warm welcome and corporate introduction by Mr. Sirajul Hoque, Director of Renata PLC’s Animal Health Division, and Mr. Edward Manchester, Global Commercial Director of Ecolex Animal Nutrition. Both emphasized the partnership’s shared vision for science-based, sustainable growth in Bangladesh’s rapidly evolving animal health industry.

In a series of insightful technical sessions, Mr. Edward Manchester presented advanced nutritional technologies such as LipoAMP and EnzaMax Pro, designed to enhance digestibility and nutrient absorption in animal feed. He also highlighted the ONE Health approach, focusing on innovative microbial and viral interventions that improve performance while maintaining environmental balance.
Mr. Lesley WJ Nernberg, Nutrition and Business Development Consultant, discussed next-generation safety and antimicrobial innovations, including PuraTox, PuraTox Pro, and AcidMax Pro, offering new solutions to mycotoxin control and gut health management.
Addressing local microbial challenges in Bangladesh’s poultry industry, Mr. Manchester outlined science-driven strategies to combat bacterial and viral issues, underscoring Ecolex’s commitment to supporting local producers.
Adding to the lineup, Mr. Rajan Seralathan, Head of the South Asia region, introduced HAPeLaY, a synergistic innovation aimed at maximizing laying hen performance through optimized nutrient utilization.
The program was anchored by Dr. Md. Abu Taleb, Poultry Portfolio (Animal Health Division), Renata PLC, who guided the evening’s proceedings with a professional and engaging approach.
The program wrapped up with a networking dinner, where industry leaders, veterinarians, and nutrition experts exchanged ideas on the future of feed technology and sustainable animal production.
