Kemin organized a workshop on holistic approach for Gut Health Solution in Dhaka as per the changing needs of poultry industry in Bangladesh. Dhaka, Bangladesh : Kemin Industries, a global leader in developing feed ingredients for animal nutrition and health, organized a one-day workshop on ‘Holistic Approach for Gut Health Solution’. With the increasing awareness of the consumers towards the safe, quality and affordable protein for consumption are imposing more and more pressure on feed and poultry producers. While the usage of AGPs are already in restriction in the country, the efficient gut health management and economical poultry and egg production is becoming the prime criteria for the nation. Among the 120 big corporate of poultry feed industry of Bangladesh, Dr. Chris Nelson, President and CEO, Kemin Industries had excitingly shared the new vision and logo for striving to sustainable transform the quality of life every day for 80 percent of the world with its products and services. Dr. Chris emphasized that how Kemin focused to continue the customer services, adding value to customer’s business and on a larger perspective towards the vision.

Further discussion led to the need of the hour topic; gut health scenario in South Asia and Bangladesh, approaches for and efficient management by Dr. S. Saravanan; General Manager- Technical Services, Kemin Industries South Asia Pvt Ltd. In the South Asian region especially Bangladesh poultry producers, where the producers gave away the usage of Antibiotic Growth Promoters (AGPs) got addressed with various approached for animal health management while sustaining the economic efficiency. The challenge is to balance the healthiness as well as profitability for the sustainable business operation.

There is no single solution available for a sustained intestinal health, it needs a comprehensive approach expressed Dr. Chandrasekar S.; Marketing Manager, Kemin Industries South Asia Pvt Ltd. He had thrown light on the approach of “Triple Check” from feed to farm while emphasizing the unique solution keep up the functionality of intestine.
