AgriNews24.com: In a strategic move to expand global collaboration and introduce next-generation feed innovations, a senior delegation from KMP Biotech Co., Ltd., Thailand visited Bangladesh last week. The delegation was led by Dr. Pairat Thitisak, President of KMP Biotech, and Dr. Narathon, the company’s International Technical Manager. The primary focus of the visit was to present the latest advancements in postbiotic-enriched animal nutrition solutions -particularly the upgraded formulations of Bactosac and PRO.B, aimed at improving gut health and production performance in both the feed and hatchery sectors.
During their multi-day visit, the KMP team met with high-level executives and technical experts from several of Bangladesh’s leading feed and poultry companies. These included Kazi Farms Ltd., Aftab Group, AG Agro, JAPFA Comfeed (BD) Ltd., Fresh Feed Ltd., & Provita Group. The meetings offered valuable opportunities for in-depth technical exchanges and discussion on the role of postbiotics in sustainable, antibiotic-free livestock production. The delegation was hosted and guided throughout the visit by Kbd. Md. Abdul Latif, Managing Director and CEO of PVF Agro Limited, the exclusive distributor of KMP Biotech in Bangladesh. His leadership was pivotal in bridging the collaboration between the Thai biotech firm and the Bangladeshi animal health sector.
A major highlight of the visit was the formal introduction of postbiotic-enhanced Bactosac and PRO.B, two scientifically advanced feed additives designed to optimize digestive health, immune response, and overall productivity in poultry and livestock. Through detailed presentations and on-site discussions, the KMP team demonstrated how postbiotics—non-living microbial metabolites produced through fermentation—offer a stable, safe, and highly effective solution compared to traditional probiotic-based products. This innovation is set to play a crucial role in meeting the industry’s growing demand for high-performance, antibiotic-alternative feed strategies.
