Kemin’s Exclusive Workshop Helps Bangladesh Poultry Producers L.E.A.P Toward Profitable Poultry Production

Kemin organized a feed milling and nutritional efficiency workshop through global industrial experts and shared insights for preparing a better tomorrow.

Dhaka, Bangladesh (May 05, 2018) :  Kemin Industries, a global leader in developing feed ingredients for animal nutrition and health, recently organized a two-day workshop on milling and nutritional efficiency “Leveraging Efficiency; Accelerating Progress (L.E.A.P)”.

As the world’s population grows and incomes rise, so does the demand for food, especially high-quality animal protein. To keep up with demand and maintain profitability, animal producers need high-quality, affordable animal feed.

“Producers are seeing fluctuations in raw material quality, specifications and price, which makes it very challenging to run efficient and profitable operations,” said Mr. Sushanta Dey, Sales Director, Kemin Industries South Asia. “Through our L.E.A.P seminar, we brought together renowned experts in feed efficiency and animal nutrition to help producers bridge the gap between raw material challenges and rising protein demands.”

Experts from various specialization like Dr. Charles R Stark, Kansas State University, USA; Mr. M. Kanagaraj, Catalyst Techvisors India Pvt Ltd, India; Mr. Muthu Murugan, Spirax-Sarco Limited, United Kingdom; Professor (Retd) D. Chandrasekaran, TANUVAS, Chennai and Dr. Santiago Ramirez, FCR Consulting Group from Australia; shared their insights on milling and nutritional efficiency during the seminar. Every topic had a forum and networking session to facilitate the interaction between participants and industry experts, which ensured the knowledge transfer to suit the local needs with global expertise.

Milling Efficiency, Feed Technology, Nutritional Health and Economic Efficiency were the primary focus areas of the forum. Kemin team members and industry experts provided specific lessons on understanding the practical needs of the industry. Kemin product and technical experts Mr. Nandakumar K, General Manager of MillSMART™, Dr. Chandrasekar S, Product Manager of Nutritional Efficiency Programs and Mr. J. Sathishkumar, Business Development Manager, shared the products and services Kemin offers to accelerate feed technology, milling, animal performance and profitability.

Dr. Azimul Haque, National Sales Manager, Bangladesh urged the importance on focusing on efficiency in animal production and highlighted how the solutions from Kemin helps in improving the efficiency of animal protein production.
