Staff Correspondent: Growscience Nutrition & Private Ltd. has appointed Mohammad Salah Uddin Rashed as the Country Sales Manager for its Bangladesh operations. With an accomplished career spanning over a decade in aquaculture, animal health, and feed industries, Rashed is expected to play a pivotal role in driving the company’s strategic growth and strengthening its market presence across Bangladesh.
A native of Chattogram, Rashed holds a BSc (Hons) and an MS in Aquaculture from the prestigious Institute of Marine Sciences & Fisheries, University of Chittagong. His academic background in aquatic biology and fish nutrition has given him a strong technical foundation that he has consistently applied throughout his professional journey.
Rashed began his career at ACI Godrej Agrovet Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Marketing Officer. His performance and deep understanding of the agri-feed market quickly set him apart. Over the years, he went on to serve in multiple leading pharmaceutical and animal health companies, including Navana Pharmaceuticals, Al Madina Pharmaceuticals, and the well-respected SK+F Pharmaceuticals. In these organizations, he held diverse roles in Product Management, Technical Services, and Sales & Marketing—focusing on veterinary medicines, feed additives, and nutritional solutions for poultry and aquaculture.
He later joined Popular Pharmaceuticals PLC as a Senior Product Manager, where he worked for nearly two and a half years. During this time, he led several product development and market expansion initiatives and was instrumental in introducing innovative health solutions in the veterinary sector. His strategic vision and team leadership significantly enhanced the company’s product positioning and revenue growth.
Prior to his new role at Growscience, Rashed served as Sales Manager for the Aqua Division in Bangladesh at PVS Group India. His tenure there was marked by solid achievements in expanding the company’s aqua nutrition portfolio, building distributor networks, and enhancing farmer engagement across the country’s coastal and inland fish farming zones.
