Staff Correspondent: MNS Agrotech marked a significant milestone with the successful launch of BIOCELL by Mazzoleni, a groundbreaking live yeast product designed to enhance animal health and performance. The launch event, held on 26 July at Dhaka Regency Hotel, attracted key stakeholders from the dairy, fisheries and poultry sectors, as well as researchers, veterinarians and industry leaders.
The evening commenced with a welcome address and company overview by Dr. Mohammad Rashedul Jakir, CEO of MNS Agrotech. He emphasized the company’s vision of bringing advanced yet sustainable solutions to Bangladesh’s animal agriculture sector. Rooted in the theme “Rooted in Nature, growing for the Future,” Dr. Jakir reiterated the commitment of MNS Agrotech to partnering with global leaders in animal nutrition for the betterment of local farming communities.
The highlight of the evening was the formal unveiling and technical presentation of BIOCELL, delivered by Mr. Andrea Dompe, Product Manager of Biocell at Mazzoleni, Italy. Developed from a unique strain of live yeast carefully selected from Italian grapes, BIOCELL is engineered to optimize gut health, improve nutrient absorption and support overall animal performance across species. Mr. Dompe explained how BIOCELL stands apart due to its superior bioavailability, stability and compatibility with modern feeding practices. The product, already used in several European countries, is now being introduced to the Bangladeshi market for the first time through this collaboration.
He emphasized that BIOCELL offers scientifically proven benefits in boosting immunity, stabilizing rumen pH, reducing digestive disorders and enhancing feed efficiency. These features are particularly relevant for Bangladesh, where the demand for sustainable and cost-effective animal nutrition is on the rise amid challenges in productivity and disease resistance.
The event also served as a platform for networking and technical discussion among participants, many of whom expressed strong interest in adopting BIOCELL in their operations. The launching ceremony was followed by a dinner, where guests continued to engage in informal discussions about the potential impact of this product on the country’s livestock industry.
