Mr. Didarul Alam brings over 17 years of experience in feed milling, grain handling, and poultry equipment systems. He has earned a strong reputation for his leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to innovation. His appointment reflects GPT’s commitment to strengthening its Bangladesh operations through experienced, locally knowledgeable leadership.
Previously, Mr. Alam served as Senior Deputy General Manager (Operations) at Provita Group, where he led the Feed Mill Operations Team and contributed to strategic growth, production efficiency, and plant performance. His leadership played a crucial role in optimizing systems and delivering consistent quality across operations.
Before that, he had a 12-year tenure at Aftab, a prominent name in Bangladesh’s poultry and feed sector, where he led the engineering team and oversaw major technical projects and infrastructure development. His role was central to implementing new technologies and improving production capabilities.
Mr. Alam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET), Gazipur, and an International Diploma in Supply Chain Management (Professional) from ITC/UNCTAD/WTO, Geneva, Switzerland. These academic qualifications, combined with his hands-on professional experience, position him as a dynamic leader capable of aligning global best practices with local market strategies.
